Hello Treasure Hunters! This week in The Corner Shoppe you will find new items to pursue and purchase! We just received this HUGELY fabulous oil painting! It is a meticulously hand painted artist copy of an old master and it measures 50×54! The original owner purchased this lovely decorator item at The Merchandise Mart, paying $3500 new.

Also available at this time is this sweet oriental artwork piece. Made of mother or pearl and semiprecious stones this lovely piece would grace any home!

This is a very nice hand colored antique engraving from Harper’s Weekly.

Speaking of works of art, don’t miss your opportunity to purchase the finely crafted Georg Jensen dove pin! The mark is circa 1933-1940 (GJ) and it has the old style pin clasp. We have had the same pin from a more recent time frame and it did not have nearly the same detail, appearance or the lovely patina!

Also in our jewelry section is this wonderful piece of Sterling Silver by Cini! A vintage Taurus astrological pendant (no chain), it is an impressive and large addition to our collection we are currently offering!

The below pictured 7-8mm necklace and pierced earring cultured pearl set is by Visanti. It has a very white lustre. The necklace is 16″ and the earrings are one pearl each.

Below you will find a photo of a very lovely vintage cameo in a gold filled frame! It is probably from circa 1900-1930 and is Italian in origin.

This week we also have several new pieces of furniture that are ready for taking home and installing into your decor!
We have a lovely media cabinet that is perfect for a formal room! In a traditional carved style bordering on French in motif, this piece has a shelf for your DVR in the center, two drawers and a cabinet. Absolutely lovely and in perfect condition this piece is ready to go!

Also just in this week is a pair of lovely Henredon wing chairs with a bird and floral motif. The outer parts of these chairs are in a nice velvet with a beautiful patina. They have down/feather seats.

Hello Treasure Hunters! This week at The Corner Shoppe we feature this fabulous 19th c. oil painting of a pastoral scene by H. De Buel of Belgium. He is a listed artist and well known for his sheep. It is under glass and in the original frame. Priced at $2,500!
Don’t forget that we are a wonderful place to shop for art and listed artists! Other pieces we currently have is the 1930s Bucks County Pennsylvannia Covered Bridge oil by listed artist A. Sheldon Pennoyer, a wonderful oil of nudes (appears to be signed under the frame), a 19th c. chromolithograph on canvas paper portraying Adam and Eve, a hand colored engraving form Harper’s Weekly and other great pieces of work!

Hello Treasure Hunters! This week the Corner Shoppe has filled with quality antiques, vintage and household goods of all kinds! Come and view (and BUY!) this high quality signed J. Hoares American Brilliant Period cut Glass Vase! It is 14″ tall and appears perfect!
There is a very nice antique side table on tripod pedestal leg that would be great for end table or bedside table…or in the hall or entry!We have a lovely mahogany Drexel tall chest that also arrived this week.

Hello Treasure Hunters! I hope you have had a fun weekend scouting for new bargains. You will definitely want to come and check out our new Clearance corner!
There are lots of good bargains there!
We have gotten some great things in the shoppe I am really excited that we have consigned a lovely Maxfield Parrish print form 1929 in its original frame! Titled “Ecstasy” this is a really hard print to find unless you are looking for reproductions.

We received two lovely sets of china. Great English sets. Take a look at the very pretty and very reasonable cedar chest that cam e in a couple of days ago, and the other fabulous items both here previously and new to the store!. Hello Treasure Hunters! Wow have we been busy! We have some very nice mid-century modern and Danish modern furnishings currently in stock.  A fresh estate is in and furniture and smalls are flying out the door! Check out the service for 12 of King Richard sterling flatware by Towle  And two wonderful carving sets (one with steak knives) by Gerber! As usual we have a fabulous selection of jewelry-including a reissue of a classic  Trifari frog brooch!  There are also some lovely rugs…..
